    Dear Lew,

    Well, let me point out here that I never saw such a picture before 
its online publication in the Astronomy Picture of the Day (APD). Tunç 
only mentioned me of its existence, but he was not giving me more 
details. The image posted on APD show trails clearly produced by the 
paths of several satellites. Nowadays is really tough identifying meteor 
tracks in wide field imaging not using a rotating shutter...(!)

    On Aug. 12-13, 2007 we noticed normal Ursa Majorid and PER activity, 
but we got unexpected fireball activity from
another source during the Perseid maximum. All this was achieved by 
using the SPMN all-sky CCD cameras, but still
the imagery is being reduced. For those of you interested in more 
details on our cameras, our discovery of the 2006 Orionid outburst is 
already in press in MNRAS, Vol. 380, issue 1, start page 126.
